'OM Namo Bhagavate Vasu Devaya'
The surface meaning of this mantra is; 'Oh, Infinite Lord, Indweller in the hearts of all beings, unto You i turn my consciousness'
According to the Kriya yoga tradition, this is a very auspicious mantra, for it consists of twelve letters, corresponding to the measure of man. It is called the Kriya mantra, as it is the mantra that is given to kriya-jyothis and to Kriya-bans (wisdom&devotion).
The mantra is chanted: OM- Na- Mo- Bha- Ga- Ba- Te- Ba- Su- De- Ba- Ya
When chanted, this special mantra will reveal to you the universality of God-consciousness. In and through this mantra you will learn to control prana and create new states that are young, vibrant and constructive.
